A Let’s read
一、教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)能够读懂Let’s read部分的短文, 并完成课文后的填空和问答练习。
(2)能够理解并会说唱Let’s chant及Let’s sing的歌谣。
2.技能目标:
(1)能够用一般过去时描述自己在过去的时间里所做的事情。
(2)能够用主要句型询问他人在过去的时间里所做的事情并作答。
(3)学会阅读短文,并从中获取信息,同时能互相谈论有关上个周末所做的事情。
3.策略目标:
给学生作个示范,让学生及时体验这种学习策略。
二、教学重点难点:
怎样进行阅读一篇文章,掌握阅读的方法
三、教学媒体设计:
运用动画和媒体资源,帮助学生理解课文从阅读中获取信息,使学生形成自己的阅读技巧和方法。
四、课前准备:
1、多媒体设备,自制PPT演示文稿。
五、教学过程
Step 1.Warm-up
1、 Let’s sing a song — At the zoo.
(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,为以下所学内容作铺垫。)

Step 2. Lead - in
1、 Show my photos on the PPT. Give Ss a model: I read a book on the weekend. I clean my room on the weekend. Tell Ss what I often do on the weekend. Let Ss talk about what they often do on the weekend. Give Ss another model, tell them what I did last weekend . I played basketball last weekend. I watched TV last weekend .Let Ss talk about what they did last weekend.
(设计意图:通过老师的自述,师生的问答,生生的交流,对比What do you often do ?与What did you do? 及回答,从而引出有关吴一帆上个周末的一些事情)
Step 3. Presentation
1、 Show the picture about Wu Yifan.
T: ---Who is he ?
Ss: ---It’s Wu Yifan.
T: ---OK. Let’s study the text about Wu Yifan.
2、 Listen to the tape and find out the key words of the passage. A Question on the PPT: The text is talking about Wu Yifan’ __________.Let Ss listen to the text with the question, then fill in the blanks.
(设计意图:通过找关键词,让学生对课文有整体的了解。)
3、 Let Ss read the text freely , circle the topic sentence.
(设计意图:学生自主阅读,让学生找文章的中心句,学生会进一步对文章有了一个整体的把握)
4、 Let Ss follow the tape.
(设计意图:跟读课文,正音,对课文有良好的语感,此环节在说课中已设计,但在教学中漏掉了)
5、 Read the text loudly , take out the form and finish it.
What did Wu Yifan do?
(设计说明:细读课文,培养学生分析和处理信息的能力.让学生按照时间为线索,逐层找出吴一帆上个周末的活动。)
6、Read the text together , answer the question. Why did Wu yifan visit his grandmother? 从而引出 Because it was his grandma’s birthday , 又通过his grandma’s birthday , 从而引出noodles , 对比long life noodles 和a birthday cake,体现中西方文化上的差异。
(设计说明:帮助学生疏通课文,查找难点。)
Step 4. Consolidation
1、自制幻灯片。吴一帆在上个周末一系列的活动(共8幅图),让学生选择哪几幅图与课文所学内容相符。通过点击,如果此幅图正确,它会留下来。如果错误,此幅图会消失。首先老师做一个示范,再让学生逐个到前面操作,培养学生动手的能力,并提高他们学习的兴趣。在操作时,进一步使用句型:
---Did Wu Yifan visit his grandmother?
---Yes, he did.
---Did Wu Yifan play Pingpong?
--- No, he didn’t.
---Did Wu Yifan …?
--- Yes , he …/ No , he …
……  

2、 完成书本上的练习(Finish the sentence),进一步加强写的练习。
Step 5. extension
1、 Show a picture on the PPT and give Ss a model. Make a survey ,ask one of your friends what he/she did last weekend. And make a dialogue between you and your friend. Try to chant.

--- Yes , I ….
Model:
Qian Xiaoqiu’s weekend
(1)Saturday morning: did homework
(2)Saturday afternoon: played basketball
(3)Sunday morning: washed her clothes
(4)Sunday afternoon: watched TV
Make a dialogue:
A:---Did you do homework?
B:--- Yes, I did homework.
A:---Did you play basketball?
B:---Yes, I played basketball.
A:---Did you wash your clothes?
B--- Yes, I washed my clothes.
A:---Did you watch TV?
B:---Yes, I watched TV.
(设计说明:通过所学内容,仿照例子,让学生能够运用到实际生活中去,并作与本节课前面类似的chant,此环节未能达到预期的目的。)
Step 6. Homework
Write a passage .Talk about what you did last weekend.
(设计意图:落实学生的写作)
