1.The analysis of the teaching material:
This is the first unit of Module Six, so it focus on training the students’ listening and speaking skills. The topic is the Olympic adventure. In this unit, students should know how to talk about sports by using the comparative forms with more…than. It plays an important part in connecting the following units.
2.Teaching aims: 
A. Knowledge aims
1)Key vocabulary and phrases: Olympic, adventure, more, dangerous, gymnastic, basketball, cycling, table tennis, ski, popular, exciting, tiring, unpopular, boring, relax, relaxing, safe, be good at
2)Key structure: comparative form :more … than …
B.   Ability aims
1) To understand the conversations about sports.
2) To describe sports with different adjectives.
3)To express their own opinions on sports by using comparative forms.
C. Emotion aims
1) To make the students love our country deeply.
2)To help students to improve their ability of cooperation and love for sports.
3.Teaching key points
1)To make sure Ss know the names of sports in English and learn to describe them.
2)To enable Ss to use comparative forms in talking about sports.
