摘要：改革开放２０多年来，社会发展的速度与人的发展的速度不协调，学校体育发展还没有适应社会发展的速度。对于这种不协调和差距，论文主要从目前我国青少年健康问题的严重性、学校体育存在问题的思考和学校体育与和谐社会矛盾的解决等三个方面进行了论述。

    古往今来，社会平等、安定、和谐是人们追求的共同理想。十六大报告在阐述全面建设小康社会的宏伟目标时，把社会更加和谐作为我们党要为之奋斗的一个重要目标明确提了出来。构建社会主义和谐社会，是实现全面建设小康社会的战略目标，是解决发展中各种不协调问题的客观要求。要实现党的十六大提出的本世纪头二十年的战略目标，就必须解决发展中出现的各种不协调、不和谐的问题。
