2. Listen and say:

1). Play the recording of different sounds and have the students close their eyes and listen.

2). Ask them to say what they can hear and guess where it is.

While-task procedure

1. Learn the words:

1. Learn more words: underground, taxi

1. Learn the sentences:

1). T: What can you see/hear?

   S: I can see/hear a bus.( …)

   T: What else can you see/hear?

   S: I can see/hear a ship. ( … )

 2) Teach: What can you see/hear?

         else—What else can you see/hear?

         I can see/hear … ( too ).

 3) Ask and answer in pairs:

   A: What can you see/hear?

   B: I can see/hear a bus.( …)

   A: What else can you see/hear?

   B: I can see/hear a ship. ( … )

4). T: What can he/she see/hear?

   S: He/She can see/hear …

1. Learn the dialogue:

1) Play the recording and ask the students to answer these questions. And parties the dialogue with them.

- What can Ben hear?

   - Ben can hear a ship.

   - What else can Ben hear?

   - He can hear an aeroplane.

   - What can Kitty see?

   - She can see a bus and some cars.

2) Play the recording again. Then ask the students to repeat after it. And parties the dialogue with them.

单词教学要注意举一反三,单复数的操练及课外单词的输入,是为了丰富学生的知识.
