一、 说教学理念:
有了前面两年学习英语的经历,五年级学生有了一定的英语水平,更何况这一课时的设计是来源于学生日常生活的实际,因此,这一课时主要是训练学生的口语交际能力,让学生能说,让学生会说,让学生想说,本课时主要通过已学知识点,从日常的生活中入手,激发学生想说的欲望,在由浅到深,循序渐进,运用“任务型教学法”引导学生用What are you doing? I’m…. 来询问对方正在干什么。。
二、说教材
今天我说课的内容是人民教育出版社出版的PEP Primary English Book 6 Unit 4 What are you doing?的学习,主要学习和运用句型What are you doing? I’m….。
三、 说教学目标
《英语课程标准》指出:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神是小学英语教学的基本任务。在认真分析教材的基础上,我针对学生实际,将本课时的教学目标及重,难点确定如下:
1.Knowledge aims :
1)The Ss will be able to read and write the main sentences of this dialogue .
2) The Ss will be able to read and understand this dialogue ,then finish the exercises after the dialogue .
3)The Ss will be able to master and use the main sentence pattern :What are you doing? I am …
2.Ability aims :
1)The Ss will be able to use the main sentence pattern properly in given situations or their daily life .
2)The Ss will be able to read the dialogue with correct pronunciation and intonation .
3)The Ss will be able to learn English by cooperation .
3.Emotional aims :
1)The kids will be more intereted in learning English.
2)The kids will learn to use English in their daily life.
四、 说教学重点
教学重点:The Ss can master and use the main sentence pattern “What are you doing ?I am …”properly in given situations or their daily life .
五、 说教学难点
教学难点:The Ss can read and understand the sentence :Do you want to go to the Children’s Center?
六、说教法、学法
为了突破这堂课的重、难点,根据小学五年级学生好奇、好胜、内敛、爱面子、表现欲旺盛等生理和心理特点,我主要采取了以任务型教学模式为主,以活动,合作为主线,让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作、游戏感悟等多法并用的方式组织教学。彻底改变传统的“讲授”的教学模式,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。
七、 说教学过程
(课前播放Let’s sing<What are you doing>)课前谈话:Hello! boys and girls. I’m your new English teacher today. My name’s Portia. You can call me Miss Ying. OK? Look, what time is it?
Oh,it’s time for our English class.
StepⅠ. Warming-up
1. Let’s play
T: Boys and girls. Let’s play a game. I say cook dinner. You say cooking dinner. OK?
(cook dinner, draw pictures, answer the phone, do the dishes, read a book, play football , fly a kite, plant trees, go hiking )
2、 Free talk
(1)T: You know I’m new here. I want to know something about you. What’s your name? Nice to meet you. When is your birthday? What do you do on the weekend? Which season do you like best? Why ?
StepⅡ.Pre-reading
1、Present “What are you doing?” “I’m doing the dishes.”
T:Are you helpful at home? Can you do the dishes? Please do it. / Just do it.
T: What are you doing? (板书)
S1: I’m doing the dishes.(板书)
T: (然后问另外一个学生)What is … doing?
S2: He’s / She’s ….
2、 Present“I’m reading a book.”
T: What can you do in the classroom? (看书状)
S1: I can read a book.
T: Please do it. / Just do it. What are you doing?
S1: I’m reading a book. (板书)
T: What is … doing?
Ss: He’s / She’s ….
3、“击鼓传花”活动
T: Now, boys and girls. Let’s play a game.Here is a ball.You can pass it one by one. When the music stops, the chidren who has the ball should stand up.We can ask together“×××,×××,what are you doing?”He can answer the questions according to the picture.
4、Present“I’m talking to you.”
(开小火车问答)the last student can ask teacher:”What are you doing?”
T:I am talking to you.
5、Present“This is ×××.”
T:Listen the phone rings.Who can anser the phone.
StepⅢ.、While-reading
1. Listen and find out.

T: Look,who’s this boy?What is he doing?
Ss: He is answering the phone.

Fei Yangyang:Hi,Xi Yangyang.This is Fei Yangyang.How are you today?
Xi Yangyang :Very well,thanks.And you ?
Fei Yangyang I’m fine,too.What are you doing?
Xi Yangyang:I am talking to you.
Fei Yangyang :Come on,Xi Yangyang.What are you doing?
Xi Yangyang:I am reading a book.What are you doing?
Fei Yangyang:I’m drawing pictures.Tomorrow is Saturday.What do you do on Saturdays?
