UNIT TWO This is Danny deer
新课标体现:
本单元主要是要求学生掌握在日常生活中如何运用是什么,不是什么的问答。会对陌生人问物品名称等。这些简单的对话是学生日常生活中可以常常用到的,这样可以提高学生使用英语交流的机会和能力。
Teaching Aims:
Knowledge:
1、 Listening:
能听懂询问物品名子等的对话;指出图,同学们可以说出它的在英文中的单词。
2、 Speaking:
能在适当的语境打招询问物品名称;能在教师设计的语境中运用本单元所学功能句,及应答进行会话。
3、 Reading:
能正确、流利的朗读课文对话及LOOK AND SAY中的对话;能正确读出图中物品的名子。
4、 Writing:
能正确、规范地写本单元要求掌握的字母。
情感态度:
1. 学生在课文学习中,体会如何关心他人。
2. 学生通过学习文具的英文名字,学生可以从此爱惜自己的文具。
过程方法:
1、利用现有的电教设备资源,使学生可以更加直观的对所要学习的内容有整体了解,并且可以培养学生良好的发音习惯,为以后的学习打下基础。
2、在教授对话的同时,把单词或重点句型出示给学生,这样可以使学生更方便于学习,掌握,和运用。
3、在教学时多采取同学之间互相帮助的功能,可以加深同学之间的感情,还可以帮助班主任更好的完成思想道德教育工作。
Teaching Emphasis:
1、What is this? 及应答.
2、重点词汇: pencil, book, ruler, pencil box, eraser, pencil shapener, ink, eggs, flowers, girl, hat.
Teaching Difficulty:
2、 字母无论从读音还是写上来说,对于二年级学生来说都是较难掌握的,在单词的学习中引出字母的学习。
3、 在正确的环境里运用询问物品名称。

Lesson one(9-17)

Teaching Aims:
1、 The students can be understand the dialogue.
2、 The students like to learn English.
3、 The students can be read the dialogue.
Teaching Emphasis:
1. Review: How can use “What’s your name?” in dialogue. And answer it.
2. Emphasis sentence: This is…. This isn’t….
Teaching Difficulty:
How can use “This is….” ”This isn’t….” in dialogue.
Teaching Medium:
Step 1:
T: I will introduce two new friends to you. Take out lulu’s mask and
say:“This is lulu.” Take out Danny’s mask and say: “This is Danny.”
S: Repeat it.
Step 2:
T: Hold up mask for Mocky and say, “This is Mocky.” Have the children repeat the sentence.
Repeat the procedure for all the other masks.(Ken、Ann)
Hold up each of the masks in turn, and say, “This is …”
Hold up mocky’s mask and say: This isn’t mocky. This is ken.
S: Make it.
At last, hold up a mask but say nothing. Have the children make a sentence of their own.
Step 3:
T: Say, “stand up.” As you say this, stand up. Then have the children stand up. Repeat the procedure for Sit down.
S: Let the children stand up and sit down in response.
T: Repeat the procedure for Open your books. And Show me a pencil.
S: Do it.
Step 4:
Open the books.
T: Ask these questions about the pictures:
Picture 1: Who can you see in the picture?
What are they doing?
What do you think they are talking about?
Picture 3: What are Ann, Ken and Mocky doing?
Picture 4/5: Who do they meet?
Picture 6/7: Do they like him?
Picture 8: Who does Moncky see?
Picture 9: How does Moncky feel?
Picture 10: Has Moncky made a mistake?
Picture 11: What is happening to Moncky?
Step 5:
Story: The students read after the tape.
Explain that people often say“ Oh, no.” ”Come on!” “Super”
Step 6:
Homework:
Explain that you want the class to tell their families about the new characters, Danny and Lulu.


Lesson two(9-19)

Teaching Aims:
The students can use the picture、goods or tape to learn the new words “ pencil, book, ruler, pencil box, eraser, pencil sharpener,” and know these words.
Teaching Emphasis:
These words : pencil, book, ruler, pencil box, eraser, pencil shapene
Teaching Difficulty:
The sound of pencil sharpener.
Teaching process:
Step1
Greeting and lead in
1. Greeting with student “hello ,boys and girls?”
2. T: Do you miss the Mocky ,yes or no
S: yes/no
T: Show the Mocky and say: This is mocky. Ask the students to repeat.
S: This is mocky.
T: point to the bag ask “what’s this”
S: This is a bag.
T: Guess what’s in it ?
S: Guess
Step2
Teach new words
The student guess
1. pencil
T: take out the pencil
T: ask “what’s this ?” write the words in the blackboard.
S: “It’s a pencil” Answer it one by one
2. book
T: take out book and ask what’s this ?
S: answer : It’s a book
T: show English book tell student “It’s an English book” write the words in the blackboard.
put up /down your book.
S: Do it.
3. pen
T: A: take out pen Ask what’s this ? in English
B: Listen to the sound (Who is listen carefully)
C: Find one student say “pen”
D: Write it on the blackboard pen
E: teach read it
F: Ask what’s this ? and S answer
4. Eraser
Like pen the way
Do you have eraser ? show me your eraser.

There have seven words and the student guess which one and teach which words, teach way is same but the exercise is different
Step3 games
1.T: let’s do a PINGPONG game ?
Pass the bag if the sound stop whom , we ask together what’s this ? then he/she take one thing and answer
S play this
2.look at the picture
Look at the picture and guess “what’s this .” (put other paper on it )
3.missing game
Let’s do a missing game miss on picture and then guess which one is missing .
4.put the picture on the blackboard

Lesson three(9-22)

Teaching Aims:
1、 Say the dialogues explain the mind.
2、 Keep the students like to learn English.
3、 The students can be introduced these good friends.
Teaching Emphasis:
1. Review: How can use “What’s your name?”in life. And answer it.
2. Emphasis sentence: This is…. This isn’t….
Teaching Difficulty:
How can use “This is….” ”This isn’t….” in life.
Teaching Medium:
Step 1:
Introduce your good friend’s name each other.
Step 2:
Student book page 18:
Say to the children: “Open your books.”
Display your copy of the page. Read the words slowly, pointing to each word as you say it. Substitute two of the children’s English names for the underlined names in the text.
Step 3:
Listen and number:
T: Display your copy of the page.
Point to the picture of Danny Deer..
Say, “This is Danny Deer.”
S: Have the children repeat the words as they point to the picture in their books.
Repeat another people.
T: play the tape. Touch the correct picture as you hear the words.
S: Explain that you want them to write the number of the sentence in the box beside each picture as they listen to the tape.
Step 4:
Review the second letter: a, b, c, d.
Learn the new letter: e, f, g, h, i.
Replay the tape, and have the children point to the matching pictures in their book.
S: replay the tape and have the children say the word aloud.
Step 5:
Repeat the procedure that was used to introduce the letter Ee and the word eggs.
Step 6:
Homework:
Have the children open their books at page 19. Explain that you want them to :
Color all the Ee letters in one color
Color letters Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii in different colors.


Lesson four (9-24)

Teaching Aims:
1、know the words, students can read and write letter e、f、g、h、i.
2、Keep the students like to learn English.
3、The students can use the sentence “this is ”to introduce their friends.
Teaching Emphasis:
1、Review: How can use “What’s your name?”in life. And answer it.
2、Emphasis sentence: This is…. This isn’t….
3、learn and write the letters.
Teaching Difficulty:
How can use “This is….” ”This isn’t….” in life.
Teaching process:
Step1:
T: Say,“look at the video write the letter E”computer write the letters.
S: The students write the letter in the air with the video. Teacher also do it.
Repeat for the small letter e.
Follow the same procedure for Ff 、Gg、 Hh、Ii.
Step 2:
S: Draw the children’s attention to the pictures at the bottom half of the page.
T: Play the video. The children repeat the word and point to its beginning letter.
Without the tape , have the children point to each picture in turn and say the beginning sound.
S: Make it. Say the word cards one by one. Point to it’s beginning letters.
Step 3:
T: Thouch and say: review:
Use the mask of mocky and say: this is mocky, this isn’t Ken. let’s the students to know is mean and can use it.
S: Make it.
T: Have the children open their books at the top of page 21.
Model the structures by reading, this is. This isn’t
S: finish other part.
Step 4:
Review the sentences from the previous activity.
Draw the children’s attention to the bottom part of the page. Write the sentence on the blackboard, important:isn’t=is not.children say the sentence.If time allows, children could repeat the activity in pairs or small groups.
Step 5:
Homework:
Student book page 20
Have the children trace over the letters beside the pictures. They can finish the exercise for homework.
Remind the class to finish tracing and writing Ee、Ff、Gg、Hh.


Lesson five (9-26)

Teaching Aims:
1、Use the dialogues explain the mind..

Step1: T: ask the students open book turn to page 22,say the name of the characters in the picture.(what’s this?)

T: put up the mask of lulu, mocky, Uncle Booky, Danny.
S: say their name. Match the picture. Colour the character.
Step2: T: put up word card:elephant,egg,fire.
S: read it.
T: an elephant will sing a song for us. Please listen carefully.(broadcast for the first time.)
S: point to the pictures of the book when they listen.
T: listen for the second time.
S: listen and act(repeat.)
Step5: homework:
Use this is to introduce mocky, lulu, Danny and ken.
Sing the song after class.


Lesson six (9-28)

Teaching Aims:
1. Use the sentence is very expertly and read the dialogue.
2. The students like to learn English.
3. The students can be very expertly introduced these friends.
Teaching Emphasis:
1. The letters.
2. Emphasis sentence: This is…. This isn’t…. very expertly in life.
Teaching Difficulty:
How can use “this is; this isn’t.”to introduce friends.
Teaching process:
Step 1:
Review:
5. Review the letters.
6. Review the new words.
7. Review the dialogues.
8. Review the emphasis sentence.
This prepares the children for the game later in the lesson.
Step 2:
Uncle Booky’s storytime:

T: 1. Make a scene: we are going to listen to a story.
2. Play the tape. Ask the children to listen to the story with their books closed.
S: listen to the tape.
T: Ask the children open their books and look at pictures.
S: Guessing the meaning of the words. Read after the tape.
T and S:
Divide some roles for this story and do it.
Step 3:
Introductions:
Give the mask of mocky, Uncle Booky, LULU, Danny to four students.(four group)
T: Have the students to introduce the mask use this is.
S: do it and pass it to the next students.
T: which group is finish first have a reward.
Step 4:
Self-assessment
Student book page 25
Have the children do the part in pairs or in groups by themselves.
They should assess themselves according to their own situation.
They should be encouraged to compare their results and learn from each other.
T: Make some terms about two children.
Try to introduce the characters by book.
S: Try it.
T: one child points to a picture, the other says the name and then checks the box that below.
They switch their roles.
S: Try to do it.
T: The children work in pairs and circle the letters they have learned in this unit.
Step 5:
Homework:
Write the letter.
Introduce your friends for your parents.
