Introduction of our lesson
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:
Allow me to give a brief introduction to our lesson.
Firstly, I’d like to talk about the teaching materials.
Our topic is “home”, this is the first period of this lesson.. And it is for the Ss of Grade Five.
Here are the main teaching aims:
(1)The knowledge aims are to enable the students to learn some new
words, such as fridge, air-conditioner and so on, and to master the sentence pattern:“There be...”
(2)The ability aim is to enable the students to describe their ideal homes.
(3)The emotion aim is to arouse the students’ love for their homes and families.
