Ⅳ Teaching aids：
CAI、Tape recorder、Teaching cards、a model clock、bread、eggs、milk and a school schedule.
Ⅴ Teaching procedure：
Step 1. Warming up
1. Greetings：
T: Good morning/ afternoon, boys and girls.
S: Good morning/ afternoon. Miss Wang.
2. Sing a song: What’s the time?
3. T: Oh, let me see. (教师做看表状) It’s time for our new lesson. First, let’s move, OK?
S: OK.
Let’s move: Please stand up. Please sit down.
Please come here. Please go back.
4. Count the numbers with the pupils.(1—60, 5 10 15 20 25…)
Step 2. Presentation
1. (T—S A model clock) what’s the time? It’s six o’clock.(教师适时说出Let me see，让学生初步感知)
2. (T--S) Lead-in the new pattern: What time is it? It’s six thirty.
3. Practice:
1) Game One: Quickly Read—6:45 7:30 8:05 9:15…
(CAI向学生出示时间)
２）Game Two: Please guess-- What time is it? It’s….
(T-S-S1 by using a model clock)
Step 3. Lead-in the dialogue
1. Lead-in the new pattern: It’s time for…
1) Show a simple picture on the board: (A boy is having breakfast at a table.)
T: It’s six forty-five. It’s time for breakfast.
2) (Lead-- write them on the board-- Read)
S1: What time is it?
T: Let me see.(适时出示卡片，学说句子) It’s six forty-five. It’s time for breakfast.
3) Show another simple picture on the board: A boy is going to school.(T—S ask and answer)
4) Let’s chant: Tick, tock, tick, tock.
What’s the time? What time is it?
It’s six forty-five. It’s time for breakfast.
It’s seven thirty. It’s time for school.
5) Practice (by using the teaching cards)
What time is it? It’s… It’s time for…
2. Present dialogue
1) A game: (T--G1) let’s cook. Let’s make breakfast.
(引入句子—Breakfast is ready，出示卡片，学说)
2) CAI shows Scene One: T-S ask and answer.
3) CAI shows Scene Two: T-S ask and answer.
4) CAI shows the whole dialogue, listen and imitate for three times ( In low、high、higher voice).
5) Drill: T-S, Bs-Gs, Pair works, S1-S2, S3-S4…
6) CAI shows the scenes and key words; let the Ss try to recite.
7) Let’s act: T-S1, Pair works, S1-S2, S3-S4…
Step 4. Production
CAI shows a school schedule:
